Tarsus University Personnel Department Head Turhan Neşat KARA Met with Our Students

As part of the “Career Planning” and “Recruitment and Interview Techniques” courses offered within the Human Resources Management Program, our students meet with experienced managers from the private and public sectors. In this context, Mr. Turhan Neşat KARA, Head of the Personnel Department at Tarsus University, met with our students as a guest speaker and shared his experiences. The event covered employment processes and current personnel policies in public institutions in detail. Mr. Kara provided comprehensive information, particularly on types of employment in the public sector, the KPSS process, contract and

permanent staff recruitment, and critical points to consider during the interview stage. The presentation conveyed the practical implications of theoretical knowledge in the public sector with concrete examples. The seminar, which was completed interactively with a question-and-answer session, served as a roadmap for our students who wish to shape their post-graduation careers in the public sector.
