On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the seminar titled “Seeing the Unseen in Hiring: Personality Analysis,” organized by the Human Resources Management Program, was successfully held. The event, featuring Osman AKCA—Human Resources Manager at ARBEL Bakliyat Hububat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.—as the speaker, was moderated by Dr. Fatma Zehra Yıldız, Assistant Professor.

During the seminar, it was emphasized that accurately analyzing candidates’ personality traits is of critical importance in hiring processes. Participants were introduced to effective CV evaluation techniques, methods for identifying candidates’ competencies and potential, and the role of personality analysis in hiring decisions. Additionally, the importance of psychometric tools and observational skills in matching the right candidate to the right job was discussed.
