Alumni-Student Meetup Held as Part of the Human Resources Management Program
On October 1, 2026, the Human Resources Management Program of the Department of Management and Organization held an online Alumni-Student Meetup with the aim of contributing to students’ professional development and strengthening communication between alumni and current students.

The event, held via Google Meet, featured alumnus Hakan Kaplan, who works as a Training and Development Officer at Sanko Süper Film Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., as a guest speaker. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Zehra Yıldız moderated the event, and Lecturer Ali Arpacıoğlu also participated in the program.

During the event, students engaged directly with the alumni guest, asking questions about professional experiences in human resources, the transition to the workforce, and working conditions in the industry. The Q&A-style session provided students with the opportunity to assess their professional expectations, contribute to their career planning, and connect their theoretical knowledge with real-world industry experiences.

The alumni-student meeting proved to be a productive event in terms of increasing students’ interaction with industry representatives and alumni, enhancing their career awareness, and strengthening the program’s communication with alumni.
